Second Prize at the Japan International Choral Composition Competition 2026

I am truly happy and honored to have been awarded Second Prize at the Japan International Choral Composition Competition 2026 with my composition JUBILATE (for SATB mixed choir) selected from 122 entries submitted from around the world.

My heartfelt thanks to the distinguished jury: Vytautas Miškinis, Jeffery Ames, Bob Chilcott, Levente Gyöngyösi, and Norikazu Omokawa, for this meaningful recognition.

Special thanks to the Metropolitan Chorus of Tokyo, conducted by Ko Matsushita, who will give the world premiere of JUBILATE at the Daiichi Seimei Hall of Tokyo on July 26, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
